Company backed me .. and we got it done finally.. LOTS of phone calls and persistence...

Just an update. I just received a call from the companies advocate dept.

They are sending me my money. She did stay with it that's for sure. I did have assistance from OGE in getting my money and I appreciate them so very much. I don't wish this process on anyone but all I can say is stay with it if you know it's right.

I just can't appreciate ANY company making you fight them. Thank you Pisswdoff consumer for letting me vent and try to help others.

I sent in my entire form and documents with all the info they asked for. I had eye surgery 04/23/18..

I had to pay ojt of pocket $2678.00 up front before surgery. That was my portion of surgery cost.. I paid with credit card and got my surgery. I knew I had to ask for itemized stmt for reimbursement to go smoothly as my husband has had to fight for reimbursement everytime he has had to use this company..

Well even with the entire itemized bill showing what medicare was billed and my balance that I paid .. THEY STILL REFUSED AND DENIED MY CLAIM for REIMBURSEMENT.. They said I NEED A FINAL BILL.... IT IS THE ONLY BILL I HAVE AND EXPLAINED, IT IS REALLY NON OF YOUR BUSINESS ..The fact is, I showed what I paid and why and to MY UNDERSTANDING.....They are only a benefit holder or administrator..

Its MY BENEFIT ..My money allowed me for REIMBURSEMENT of MY EXPENSE FOR MEDICAL EXPENSE... Even if it isnt the FINAL bill...I still am due what I spent........ Who are they to tell me how much I can pay for my surgery ?? Its MY MONEY AND ITS MY BENEFIT MONEY THEY ARE HOLDING FOR REIMBURSING ME...

I think the more claims they dont reimburse, the longer they hang on to the benefit money which makes them a lot of money and is draining the RETIRED people that actually own the benefit money....and the employer..

This is NOT RIGHT. IT SEEMS CRIMINAL ACTUALLY. And I had to call to find out WHY I HAD NOT RECEIVED MY REIBURSEMENT.. SO it bought them more time to use our money..

PEOPLE WAKE UP, IF YOU DONT HAVE TO USE THIS COMPANY...DONT.. IN MY OPINION IT IS BRUTAL TRYING TO RECEIVE MY BENEFITS DUE ME AND I PLAN TO LET OGE KNOW there has to be other companies out there to manage this so called benefit. Hard to say its a benefit if they dont give you back your reimbursement as a promised benefit.. I think they hope we old people will simply forget about it and they make more and more and more money..

Just MY OPINION THRU MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY.. I bope tbis helps someone..
