One Exchange is difficult to reach. Long and infuriating wait times on the phone, to the point of impossible.

Benefit counselors whom I finally reached often seemed poorly trained and prepared. They seemed ill-prepared and knowledgable about important details in Medicare Advantage programs. They lacked expertise in weighing and comparing various points in different plans. This is a key factor that retirees need as they search and compare programs that are being offered to them for the coming year.

Without such knowledge, they are at the mercy of slick healthcare salesmen.

On the few occasions when I reached an informed counselor, he or she was virtually impossible to reach again with follow-up questions. My phone calls were never returned or my pleas simply disappeared down the One Exchange black hole.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Oneexchange Cons: Lack of response to my queries, Denial of claims, Poor service.
