MY PROBLEMS WITH ONE EXCHANGE

I HAVE WORKED IN THE COMPUTER AND AERO SPACE BUSINESSES FOR 40+ YEARS AND IN MY OPINION HAVE NEVER WORKED WITH A COMPANY/ORGANIZATION THAT CREATED MORE PROBLEMS FOR ME AS ONE EXCHANGE. IT TAKES ME 6 T0 8 WEEKS TO GET REIMBURST FOR CO-PAID AND PREMIUM EXPENSES, THAT IS WHEN THEY APPROVE THEM.

THEY HAVE MADE MISTAKES WHERE THEY SAY THEY OVERPAID ME FOR EXPENSIVES. THEY SAID THEY SENT ME REIMBURSTMENT CHECKS THAT I NEVER RECEIVED. THEY REJECT REQUESTS, ASKING FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION THAT DOES NOT, IN MY OPINION, ADD ANY VALUE ADD TO THE REQUEST.

TO ADD AN INSULT THEY SEND ACTUAL CHECKS WITH 0 DOLLARS WHEN THEY REJECT YOUR REQUEST. THIS IS THE FIRST YEAR THAT I HAVE HAD TO USE ONE EXCHANGE AND I AM CONFUSED, FRUSTRATED, AND, SO FAR, EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEM.

Very few of the agents are informed. You can talk to three or four in one day, and get a different "official" excuse from each.

It must be '***' working for an unethical company where you are 'on the spot' making up excuses and trying to calm the clients. What a stressful job!

Petty comments on the guys spelling!

Mr. K, you missed the entire point. Sure hope my caps and spelling meet your scrutiny.

If you really worked in the computer field for 40+ years someone would have taught you to not only fix the always-on cap lock button but how to spell as well.

Witholding of contributions

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I have contributions from two company's. They pay me only out of one of them. Tell me I have to submit separate claim to get other contribution. I did that last year and they denied it. They owe me about $3600. So far refuse to disburse it.

Oneexchange - Medical Claim Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Hands down, the worst company that I've ever dealt with. They seem to try to find ways to deny your claim instead of trying to help.

I've been dealing with them for three years and I always dread making the call. They won't answer the phone- when they do, they shuffle you around until you get exasperated and hang up. They had the audacity to tell me that my account was overdrawn when THEY WROTE THE CHECK!! I sent the funds and three weeks later- got it back with a note that said I wasn't overdrawn.

There was one lady who actually tried to help but someone above realized that they had someone who was actually trying to help the customer- they removed her from my account. I've spoken with 18 of their employees(?) and have found none to give a *** about the people that they are supposed to be serving.

I have been communicating about the same request for reimbursement since Jan 5th. It is now the 23rd.

I have been asked to resubmit 4 times @ $5 a fax.

$20 down the drain. It is time to pay again, and I have not been reimbursed for the last two tmonths.

I thought the DMV was *** these guys make going there like a vacation. Horrible business.

Hopefully they won't be around long.

Getting an answer or supervisor is impossible. I'm thinking we compile our money and take them to court.

One Exchange

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

This is a horrible company. They take their time reimbursing the funds that they suppose to put back into your savings account.

They don't care if your'e on a fixed income. My supplemental insurance quickly withdrawal funds out of my savings account but once I submit these receipts to One exchange, they just take their time reimbursing your money back into your account. And this causing me financial difficulty because i rely on this money to pay for my other expenses. I don't know what OPERS was thinking when they made changes to our health program.

This company should be replace with something else. The customer service employees are just like talking to a robot.

They will put your through all these questions and then when you finally give them all the answers, they would say, that there's nothing else we can do. They are more concern about surveys instead of giving you answers about the date of your reimbursement.

I have to go to the bank, get a copy of front and back of check, then go to the library to fax my reimbursement forms to one exchange, then wait two weeks for reimbursement. Fax costs me $9.00 at library.

First excuse from one exchange was they were in nebraska. Now they are in el paso tx. There is no reason for a faxed reimbursement to take two weeks. They hold onto the reimbursement money to make interest off of it.

They dont have enough help, and their employees hate the company. Its not a professional company serving their clients.

My mother (93) moved from NC to VA to live with us. She was an employee of American Tobacco Co.

The Company gives her $3,200 a year for medical expenses including gap insurance coverage. Because the insurance she had in NC did not transfer to VA, I called to get her another policy that was approved in VA. My mistake was that I didn't go through One Exchange to get her new policy. Who knew??

Well, now because we didn't go through One Exchange they say she can't get her $3,200 for 2017. They say it is a medicare rule. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't I don't know....but couldn't someone at One Exchange have told me this BEFORE her funding was canceled???? Very, very poor customer service or education on the facts.

Seems like they can make mistakes but if we do, then it is just too bad! Pretty sad!!

Would you give me information on my RHRA Plan I how do I make the most of my plan I .am a whirlpool retiree

Guest

Maybe you should call your mother's employer company and tell them what happened. There could be a clause in the employer's contract that if she had insurance before moving she still qualifies for this year regardless of whom you went thru to get new insurance due to her moving.

I had a personal experience with One Exchange.

They told me I did not qualify for my reimbursement because I did not go thru them for my supplement insurance. I had already had my insurance before my employer decided to give this reimbursement to retirees and since I had already had my insurance their was a clause that I qualified. If the retiree had insurance prior to One Exchange reimbursements they qualified. One Exchange did not know this .

Believe it or not I called 18 to 20 times and stayed on the line one day for an hour going to change my insurance I then had and find another thru One Exchange. I had no luck so I decided I would just let the reimbursement go. Then one day an agent (I have her name) decided to do extra reading and she found the clause and she called me back with this info. I am not kidding I talked with all of these different people at One Exchange and only one took the time to research my former retiree employer's contract.

I am persistent and I do not give up.

Please do not give up on this as I feel there is lack of knowledge at One Exchange on your situation. Common sense would almost tell you One Exchange is wrong.

We sure agree, there is a strong lack of knowledge at one exchange..we have dealt with calling, faxing for 2 1/2 months now with no results.they can't figure it out..who is the top dog there? They all say they are then we find out they aren't..I have never been through a problem that can't get resolved by anyone..help someone..what do we do..its our money, not theirs to play with..whirlpool needs to find another company...

I have been trying for two months to get my reimbursement from them. For 3 years Whirlpool gave reimbursement and didn't have any trouble.

In January One Exchange took it over. Haven't got. Any reimbursement for 2 months.

Last time I called girl told me they were out of money. I need help.

Same here, bunch of crooks, I just don't get it.they can't do their job or don't care if we get our money or not..its ours for them to send to us...not theirs to pocket..I'm going over their heads and see how that will work on them..they may all lose their jobs..I know all their names and I only had one nice one who is trying to help us...what a mess they have us in..its not right..I'm very disappointed with this company that Whirlpool is trusting us to..

They are absolutely the worst company i have dealt with. After spending 1 hour and 45 minutes on the phone, i was disconnected.

Then you start all over in the que, even though they say you can call back and be reconnected to the same person. Not true. When I requested a supervisor, she told me, just start over rather than talking to her. I just gave up and i will not go through One Exchange because i don't have 4+ hours to enroll.

Additionally, when I tried to set up an appointment, I was told the first available one was in JANUARY, after enrollment closed. They are useless rude, incompetent and disfunctional.

Reimbursement forms

i have been trying to get a reimbursement form for over a month.after talking to customer service, funding, and being told it's in the mail or we will get it right out. i still don't have one.

this company is terrible. they will tell you anything but they do nothing.

they will transfer you to one department to another but nothing gets done.if you ask to talk to a supervisor or someone in charge ,you can't. i have email them, and told of my problem and that did no good.i know of others who are having problems with them also, but i am at a loss, who do you talk to or email or whatever to get an answer?

CALL CENTER IN ASIA!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I called OneExchange today for some assistance after they left an automated voice message on my telephone (I hate those!). After passing through the chain to finally get a person, she sounded like she was on the moon and we were talking through a tin tunnel.

I asked where she was and she told me ASIA. I am disgusted.

I was laid off from my job this year and nothing can compare to the feeling of the rug being pulled out from under you when you are "walked out". Now I will visit the website and see if I can get the help I need without talking to person I can't understand.

One Exchange's horrible reimbursement software!

The first year when only one HPA was involved service was good. The second year GE jumped in front of General Dynamics and its been a disaster since.

My GE HPA is small compared to General Dynamics, and I retired from General Dynamics. But when the reimbursement money from GE runs out, that's it, there is NO transition to General Dynamics. This is the second year of this nonsense. My wife is fully covered and her GD reimbursement never misses a beat, while I the GD retired employee has to fight and jump through administrative hoops, provide proof for insurance and drug plans, ect.

mail the paper work to them and then wait and call to find out the result. Usually, it takes many calls, even though the documents are on record.

Two years of this, and I know of many people who are in this same circumstance. Pitiful!

OneExchange has one of the worst Customer Service and Funding Departments you could ever deal with.

I have spent many hours dealing with their inefficient & incompetent personnel in each department trying to get reimbursed for medical insurance General Electric providers to their retired employees.

Today they hung up on me and never called back.

They tell you one story and never follow through with what they say.

They have sent my reimbursement checks to the incorrect address and keep on telling me I cashed them

Any company who is considering using OneExchange should think twice about it.

The University of California has contracted with OneExchange for 2017. We have spent countless hours trying to get approval so that we can access our reimbursement funds.

The customer service representatives are incompetent (which started the entire mess to begin with).

Now, no one will take responsibility. So frustrating.

I agree totally. Have had to call various times and no one seems to know what they are doing.
